Agreed hun... Sex workers can no longer be denied their constitutional rights. They can no longer be people who are just beaten up, with no recourse to justice.
Sex work needs to be decriminalised to enable sex workers to access proper healthcare. Scary as f#ck that research shows that up to 72% of sex workers in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg are HIV-positive.
There is hope that with the new policy it will pave the way for sex work to be LEGALIZED. This requires public participation.
Hoping that sounds a little bit more coherent... Lol

I gotta agree @Cass I see benefits to all Sex workers especially those exploited by employers/pimps.

I just think that the ladies would obviously some would still be anonymous due to fear of the social stigma particularly in their personal circles.

Public participation I feel will be hit hard from those higher than thou types.

It is surely unconstitutional to brand a consensual activity as criminal. It would have to be tested in the Con Court, but who would be rich and brave enough to do that. I will be writing to the minister !

It is noticeable that the number of ESA advertisers on the cape town page has dropped to 61. Must be the lowest ever.
