I had an experience like this recently. The lady looked like her pics, but I found her less attractive, I'm not good at pulling out of a commitment so the best I thought to do in the situation is to stay for 30 minutes, instead of the hour I wanted to book. The other sites are not to be trusted. You always take a gamble with them. Some of the pictures are outdated. I have totally stopped booking girls on those sites. Unless the phone number is also used on ESA advert. Stick to ESA and you will be good to go.

But what if the lady looks like her profile pics and offers the services she said over the phone but there is a hygiene problem which you only find out after the session has started?

It's a difficult situation because she might not even be aware of the problem (I think?), but you also can't continue with the booking and lose your money. I just keep quiet about the problem, make up an excuse and cut my losses. Im too polite to tell the lady. Thankfully it doesnt happen often.

What do other punters do when you encounter a fishy situation down there?

For me, discomfort upon arrival is seldom with the lady herself, but often with the venue. And it's frustrating because when I call for a booking, I'm always sure to ask plenty of questions about the venue and often I arrive to find that I've simply been lied to. Cleanliness and privacy matter a lot to me so if a lady is unable to maintain a certain standard of the former (and is dishonest about the latter), I feel taken advantage of when having to pull out and leave a cancellation fee. :-(
