100% correct fine lady - not really a catch. Well done to u for having your finances in order. Really admire that.

Having said that its amazing and sad how many people dont have that kinda hard cash, preferring much more expensive credit options or binding contracts.

Not sure about now but the last time i checked which was months ago vodacom was waaaay more expensive for data.

What i do is use vodacom as my main number for calls due to superior reception across the country and cell c for data bundles, whatsapp etc.

Win win situation. Loyalty does not get u much in the modern world.

Pay in advance contracts require proof of address and not proof of income. That been said check Cell C reception in the area you spend most of your time before purchasing

Dual sim phones are the best, one sim for voice and the other for data

Thank you for your kind words sir :)

This is completely off topic now but I need to respond to you.

It is sad however in this industry ladies seldom have credit so it's no excuse they need to learn to manage their money properly and curb their spending. Majority of the girls in this industry don't record their booking and how much money they made from their bookings so they don't even know how much they earn. Like wise with their expenditure they don't write done what they spent and what they spend it on so they don't know how much money they are giving out. They think to themselves it's only money I'll make more (one of the reasons this business is addictive) They don't save so that they have money saved to cover them for quite day's.

There are people out in the mundane world that are really battling. There are unemployed people searching for jobs and havent been able to find something for months ( this includes people with skills and qualifications. They have no idea what they will eat tomorrow or how they will feed their kid's or pay school fees. People that are expected to live off a minimal wage when cost of living keep increasing but ther salaries don't. That sir is what I perceive to be sad.

I have a lot to say regarding this but I'm not typing a book so ladies in this industry should stop whining bout struggling or data being and issue or business being quiet. There's always someone worse off than yourself. And they need to be grateful for what they are blessed with. This kind of attitude is exactly why they are struggling not because they are not making it.

Before someone says something about ladies that are not busy remember that a bad day for employed people is better than a good day for unemployed people.

And if they really not making money why bother sitting in this industry day in and day out because this is a industry where you have to spend money to make money(like most) and if you not making it you waisting time and money on adds transport makeup shoes cloths etc. which in my opinion is pointless don't you think???

Just saying ;)

I know that I will probably be persecuted for this post and ill probably receive hate email like I normally do when posting with regard to this. I'm okay with that because big girl I can take it but this is the harsh reality.

Wise words @ Arhwen. Yoh!! I see u really passionate about this :) But i hear u. I feel the exact same way when i see people making reckless financial decisions all the time then moan when things get tight.

And now we have totally derailed this thread :)

Apologies @Meg.

I buy 1G per week for R79 Vodacom prepaid. Buying data should not be a the problem. As Arwhen mentioned ladies should have factored cost of data into monthly expenses.

Think the ladies want the option of setting themselves available for longer periods.

I don't do short notice bookings so rarely have time to set myself available.
