This all sounds very suspicious.....Tower was conveniently driving past at the exact time of raid, and the road is a cul-de-suc. Why ? And then felt the need to splash it out on the forum.

Threads like these always amuse me. They always turn into a Sherlock Holmes short story. Nobody knows who Tower is, could be a punter, could be a competing venue, could even be someone from inside La Femme. We really don't know. On the positive side no punters were caught with their pants down and prospective punters would have avoided the venue till this cooled down. The plus side is that whatever revenue was lost will certainly be doubled with the outcome.

I haven't visited La Femme but if there was some sort of effort to sully their name it certainly hasn't worked.

On the lighter side, this sounds like a typical Zuma tactic, sending in the KFC Chickens (sometimes referred to as the Hawks) to pay 'surprise' visits to his opponents in an attempt to unsettle them.

I wonder how the user name tower knew about 1unmarked(police)car becoz there are other cars parked on the road daily??

These raids for drugs are almost always initiated by the competition.
Thing is whoever pulled this move has shot themselves in the foot cos Laura handled this VERY professionally and swung the whole episode in her favour with very good PR and the fact that her place was clean. Whoever set this up will no longer be credible in the eyes of their SAPS buddy. So they only screwed up for themselves.

Exactly how I feel. Makes me want to visit there even more now. Especially also because there are 2 ladies there that I hold very, very dear. And it upsets me that an attempt was made to compromise their livelihoods!

@Laura -- you have my respect for how you handled the situation my lady.

When the hating doesn't work ,people start telling lies,so who will be next theirs at least another 5 or 6 odd reputable venues they would need their lackeys to still go investigate .People must just realise giving great service and been made to feel welcome brings back the repeat business ,obviously the perpetrators are not offering this hence a decline in their business.

Tower wanting to have ESA Admin remove the post is highly suspect. Suspect from the start in fact!
