Its interesting how people deal with this issue. Some challenge the stats, some change their behaviour and some dont acknowledge it at all.

It blows my mind that some people think HIV is only an issue for street walking Nigerian pimped, needle using crack whores. Reality is that your next gf, office fling or Sandton WG could also be infected.

I think what the News24 does is remind us all that there are consequences for our actions. So we better be prepared not to get infected or to deal with it if we are.

I've seen some personal friends, not in this industry, have unprotected sex at swingers clubs in gang bangs etc. Most of whom eventually fell pregnant by random strangers. I'm more aware of STDs as a WG then I ever was before. But I have seen the other end of the spectrum of wgs that allow it. My point being that it shouldn't be a WG generalization because there are more WG that are safer then the average girl out there I would imagine.

Agree totally with Miss V ,the risks are high when visiting a WG but at least you have the comfort of protection being used the majority of the time ,the average girl you may meet at a club or a pub are less aware of the risks and take major risks with one night stands and general flings.
