I know i give a GFE. It depends on my clients what they like and when we talk i would like to know what is expected of me. I dont like taking the money upfront and i also dont like asking for it after the booking. And sometimes the clients does forget to pay and then i feel like shit asking them for it. NO i only count the money when they left. And if they were short ill make a note of it. They never pay us what they own and stay away. So now i do let my clients count the money in front of me because after a few setbacks i dont trust anyone. Sorry to my regulars, i know you dont do that.

Spot on Meg. GFE is such a broad term and it really is client specific. I yawn when I see GFE on a WG profile these days.

In terms of money exchange: it should be accepted by all parties as part of the appointment etiquette. Payment must be done upfront, but done tactfully:

1. The way you ask is important
2. Never count the money in front of the client but do count it discreetly before you start.
3. If the money is short, ask him in a manner that it comes through it was an oversight from him. Most punters will make a plan immediately to amend their mistake.
