@nightfury: It varies. Some days none, other days 3 people. We do all moderation internally because it is actually quite tricky. We run into a lot of grey area posts and it is not always clear whether or not a post should be allowed.

Of course, the post mentioned by Shelly are absolutely not allowed.

Now hang on a minute, censorship is never a good thing! As the resolution now stands, anybody with higher than average sensibilities can get an active contributor censured for simply stating that in real life a SP has saggy tits after she takes off her Wonderbra? And there is no scope for appealing the judgement! The review system is part of the reason why this site is so popular and tampering with the system would make it another ST!

I think that we also need to keep in mind that what we consider decent/respectful is not a static thing. To illustrate my point, in the 1970s and 80s, Teddy Pendegras' lyrics for "Turn off the lights" were considered raunchy. In the 1990s R. Kelly took it a step further and penned "Bump n Grind". Now in the song She Lick Me Like A Lollipop, Lil Wayne gets away with saying:

"But man, I ain't never seen an ass like hers
That pussy in my mouth had me lost for words
So I told her to back it up like burp, burp"

So what is offensive to mature ladies such as Shelley and Yvonne may be perfectly acceptable to the younger generation of SPs.

You can still post honest constructive reviews (even if it is negative) without over-exaggerating and resorting to saying things like "old hag". We are 100% convinced it can be worded in a more respectful way and it is completely uncalled for. Please remember that there is a real person on the receiving end of these reviews.

The offending review was removed and the user placed under moderation until forever.

Don't get me wrong ESA Admin, I also truly believe that respect on the forum is a must, but I think that at times the forum can police itself in the sense that the description could have been challenged there and then, and the transgressor would be more fully informed as to what is commonly acceptable vocabulary! (In much the same way that those that use SMS speak are immediately rebuked by the language police). Another problem with your current response is that it establishes a precedent, which is almost as good as actual rules/regulations. For any rule to be binding it must be enforced, and to enforce this new rules established by this case is going to take a lot of your time whilst rendering the forum less exciting! But hey, it is your site - your rules!

Nothing has changed.....When you register on the ESA site, you click to agree to the terms and conditions of the website and one of the rules is to be RESPECTFUL! any body understands what that means....and it has nothing to do with a mature or young lady, at the end of the day we ALL have feelings so please be nice even if you did not like her.

@lovemetender In case you haven't noticed KICKASS has been working overdrive to promote certain ladies and venues . In turn the ladies and venues "reward" him by membership cards , free punts and what not as a sign of gratitude . Obviously he will try to pimp as much as he can . His admirers forms a cabal and help it out for breadcrumbs of benefits .

@ Linksfieldshelle - No one is disputing that we need to be respectful, the reservation I have is that not everyone has the same understanding of what is respectful! (Even though you assume everyone does).

For example - Just the other day I corrected a fellow punter that referred to a young lady from Sandton as a "ho"! In his defence he replied that the lady in question referred to herself as a "ho" and that she knew he meant no harm by it! One cannot deny that standards regarding what is respectful have changed. Why I remember having to stop and great every parent/teacher/adult/prefect at both my primary and high school - with my hat off! Yet these days perfectly normal school kids see no harm in brushing up against you with their school bags at the mall or damn near knocking you over when you are walking on the school grounds.
