Savanna, not trying to feed the troll, but just trying to clear up your misconception, by law everyone is required to pay tax, whether it is earned from illegal activities or not. Do you really think that if SARS came across a bank account of yours full of money that they won't be looking at whether you declared your income and paid tax? Even drug dealers need to pay tax, and of course they don't, but often if they get caught for selling drugs, a charge of tax evasion is added, which allows SARS upon conviction you sell assets to recover unpaid taxes on drug money. SARS is also not the police so would very often turn a blind eye as to where the money comes from as they would rather have everybody paying tax and get as much money into the fiscus, legal or not to. Billions are derived from from illegal activities and SARS wants every penny it can get from that. That is why they haven't asked Mika Bbw fifty thousand questions over where her income comes from, she's declared it and they are more than happy to take the tax.

So yes, you should be paying tax and you are breaking the law by not doing do. Just stating it as a fact. It doesn't bother me at all.
