I think you may have missed most of the responses were not complaining about the rate but were suggesting that lack of responses (on the forum - there may have been plenty in private) was due to a combination of factors including alone time with a complete stranger ... and the rate.
Can I offer a friendly suggestion - in your proposal also include the space for at least one booking to "test the waters" as part of the selection process.
No guarantee that the lady will actually pitch (plenty of stories here about time away arranged and the lady flakes at the last minute) but at worst you will have a few first time punts (and the lady may even over-perform knowing she is being auditioned).
At best you meet one or more ladies that you want to spend time with and who want to spend time with you!
