Once I was asked this Q and gave the correct answer, however it was regarded wrong - because the supplied 'correct A' was wrong!
Of course try to solve it on your own (I always will), but if stuck by all means google to your heart's content: there's many entries findable about this - mostly wrong though, so if you cannot interpret real-world mechanics then... tough! ;-)

On a sailboat big enough to carry at least 1 adult person a fan is mounted on the back of the boat aimed at the sail which is positioned ahead of the middle of the boat. In relation the sail is large whilst the fan is small. On a wind-still day with the boat in still water, what will happen if the fan is switched on blowing air forward into the center of the sail?
The boat will:

- not move
- move backward
