Oh! Durban

My beautiful Durban.

Today begins the end of what was and, the start of what shall be.

My heart is heavy because I say my goodbyes to my beautiful little flat having not renewed my lease.

Business in Durban is not like it used to be...and I am NOT referring to the naughty.
The naughty is the HUGE bonus.

It was financially cheaper to lease an apartment as opposed to paying daily rates but, being more away from Durban of late because there is more work elsewhere and still having to pay month end overheads is silly and not affordable nor a sound business practise. To work hard to enrich a landlord has never been my goal if not beneficial for me too.

Thus to revert back to my old ways....

Durban becomes a destination once again.

I go back to the same place....ONLY PLACE I HAVE EVER USED SINCE ARRIVING IN DURBAN IN 2017....Tomorrow.

It is still umhlanga.

Yep. More expensive but now i pay only for when I am in Durban and not when I am away.

At present it shall work out cheaper until such time work picks up again in Durban and it becomes , once again, more conducive to sign a lease.

Soooooo.....
Today
Tomorrow...and for the next few days...

I need your loving, your hugs , your kisses....your closeness...

I am an optimist..
Always have been and believe it shall come right again!

Many times I have fallen and only to pick myself up and dream even bigger!
And when I refer to falling...it is the sort of falling when plans do not pan out the way one wishes....to go with my head against the wall has never been a thing of mine. To let go sooner rather than later, if possible is usually the go to.
