I think today was the day....
Hey hey foggy wet Cape Town.
On arriving to CT I opt to get around either by walking, cycling or being shuttled when needing to carry equipment to facilities.
Knowing I am fit , but always proof certain muscles engaged more than others.
The calf muscle as well as the muscle running along the shin bone...eventually at a point where pain, due to a change of activity and frequency of activity, has subsided and disappeared.
To walk faster. Change of terrain looking for uphill and downhills a welcome challenge.
My ass, no not my quads, no longer pained from the cycle seat. Wearing a little more padded clothing and now used to the rub of the seat against the bone no longer a challenge.
Glutes, quads and hammies allowing to change the speed of the bike , a greater resistance, harder pull making it more challenging, especially on inclines.
Breathing. Yep. I consider myself quite an expert when it comes to regulating breathing...ask me how challenging it was to implement getting to the point on this fine Friday...GRIN!
...and I ain't unfit...dormant muscles not used tooo frequently, a definite ask for performance when in fair Cape Town
Apart from feeling less breathless...
Today was a quieter day engaging in losing myself to my surroundings, imagination and observing.
The passing of Human Rights Day and no witness of festivities, happiness or families out and about.
To be reminded of the real challenges facing households. It makes one very silent.
Very very silent.
The feel was a heavy one and my sensual spirit was not as engaged.
Thank you to my visitors who I openly shared with that I was feeling a little pensive and ever grateful that our conversation , although very real , in fact made our sessions that much more engaging and intimate.
Forever grateful for my blessings and
THANK YOU
Cape Town.
An early evening it is.
The fog horn persistent since this afternoon.
Once again the evening shrouded in thick fog.
Till tomorrow most dear Cape Town. ...and putting thought to pen and paper does know to let the spirit fly free as did our conversations today.
Adore you.
RB.
