Dickshaft you sound very picky lol..

But I also have a little pet peeve when it comes to food on my plate. If it ain't a salad or a stew that is meant to be all things mixed, then the different things in my plate must not touch each other.

@ Boobs53 you not the first one that has a thing against brussel sprouts... ;)

They are actually quite lovely if cooked a bit and then pan fried with butter(not margarine) and peri peri and bit of lemon juice.

They definitely are yukky if just boiled.

I get that, it's a mess otherwise. This way things stay neat.

As for me yes, I am generally quite picky lol

[QUOTE;3393524;Kooni] Red Meat, meat and more meat.
Fish - sea fish not sewage infested river fish
Pasta
Pizza

Veggies once during summer and less often in winter [QUOTE]

Beef, beef and more beef. I can survive on beef alone. Prefer braai'd or well cooked tender beef stew
Oh and wine. I have even considered holidaying in Argentina just so I can sample beef *yummyness*
And I love my feta added to any green salad.
I enjoy mushroom soup in winter

@CharlotteT...a beef stew and a good glass of red wine, couldd never be a wrong combo.

@MidnightE.. as I said each to there own, me I love parwns, any seafood!! Even thou I stay at the coast I still only have seafood like once a month or once every two months. That is my spoil for myself, I will go have it at a good seafood restaurant, buy crayfish, prawns , ECT, drink lots of white wine and just chill making an occasion and outing of it.;)

I've tried prawns twice now I just am not a fan I grew up on the coast but it's a No for me - hake or some snoek sure ! But my mind just can't get around the other stuff for some odd reason lol

What I do plan on giving a try this year is Sushi !

Sushi..The one thing seafood related I have never developed a fancy for..hehehe.

I will eat it if it is the only thing on the menu, but will not go out my way to get it or ever buy it for myself.

I can make sushi like a pro, my kids went through a Sushi phase and we went to do a sushi making course as a family years ago.;)

But even that did not make me like it more. I think it is mainly the rice they use that puts me off, grew up learning that rise should be fluffy and loose and that sticky rise just don't do it for me;)
