So I had to go look for that thread because there's no use saying there's new prices that no one knows about because the next thread will be I adjusted my prices and nothing happened.
So I found the thread and it's a contact for more info basically. Most punters like myself will assume it's a R50-100 discount and maybe even a discount on an inflated price as most of those like 90% are so I don't think it's gonna make a difference. Even more useless to attract new clients since they don't already know your prices.
May as well put the new prices out there and get an actual guage. Either it's going to drive feet through the door showing it's working or you're not gonna get bookings showing it's not really considered a good deal and then you can question why and make adjustments but just saying contact me to find out more is bad news. Imagine seeing an ad on TV or a bill board for a great special on milk, or shoes, or cars and they say contact the store for prices. How many people do you think would do that? All these companies have learnt that putting the price is what drives foot traffic over centuries of marketing. Believe me, they would be saying "contact us" if it was better business and far cheaper advertising since they just need to display stock images instead of paying a fortune to graphic designers to put a price on.

It's so annoying buying something off Marketplace, contact for price. I often don't bother and just leads to 2 people's time being wasted.
All it gets you is alot of contact asking how much? But only 5% maybe will go through, yes it gets you foot traffic but running a business is already time consuming without having to reply to people asking for a price and then ghosting you... Granted there will also be times when people will reply to an ad that is clearly marked with a price, asking how much but that's part for the course.
Post a price list and what you offer, if we like it... We will contact to make a booking, if not then no time wasted and no feelings hurt.

Gosh, I started reading this thread thinking,she seems nice and she's trying so maybe I should book her and give her a try and then boom, THIS! Who wants to book someone so angry with the world and probably the clients too?
Guys all trying to give advice on what to do and be helpful and they get nailed for it. Perhaps someone should have also said what not to do and that would be respond like this.
Suddenly simply posting a thread asking for advice is so so hard work and so much effort and such a big sacrifice. Can't imagine what an effort it is to have to put up with sucking and fucking these does's that don't deserve this golden pussy anyway.

I do recall though that you have asked for pricing to be put in the forum before. And given your inconsiderate reply, I actually think you are better off not trying to book me.

I've said how I felt about being asked to post my rates. Advice is advice wether we agree on it or not. But lets not pussy foot around it. You are entitled to see the advice/remarks on this forum however way you want to, but so am I.
