I did the exact same thing.

I am constantly being harassed that I actually find it pretty amusing because I was threatened by a police cop on a cell number. Haha
So when I asked if he contact me from the landline he had some lames story.
Anyways I told him that my lawyer would be contacting him on that cell number and of course...
An few minutes later that number was dead.
Its very common here so I would worry just tell them to f off.

Yes had same call today and told them to meat at police station. Told them to be there in 10 min since it is a serious accusation. No one showed and people at station did not know number or cop. They referred me to internal affairs and distortion department since they are looking for these people.

Eish this is happening so much recently, we safe with our regulars but it's unfair for the new WGs which explains why some beautiful new WGs don't have reviews for months

I had a call today from some guy investigating a girl that I paid in fake notes

It's was so confusing he was reading me the statement that she gave them,

I just drop the call and blocked the number

It happened with me as well. I got a call on Friday late evening, telling me the same story. I called some of the WGs last week and I believe number got leaked. I went to PS and enquired they asked me to block the number . Blocked the number but again received call from different number . Went to PS again and they checked in system and said no report on me. Changed the number and took a new number and again got the call . Checked in true caller number showing some Lt, major or something like that with a spam . Most of the calls are coming between 9:30 pm to 11:30pm or on weekends . Please suggest what to do . Do network providers leak the number as well . From my new sim I never made any call to any one . I have not visited any unknown wgs as well except trusted . Please help me out .

Yah...and sadly your faves that keep going on about not taking private numbers could potentially be the ones selling numbers to these guys.

You know strange things happened to me too. I get calls from some company that wants to sell me insurance often, then they insist that I give them phone numbers of people that I could recommend.

I wish there was a list of these scammers numbers somewhere I could refer them to.
