This is nonsense.

This reminds me of the great purge of 2014, where some heavy handed admin banned people for pretty much any human activity, I cannot even remember why I was banned and had to change my name twice in a month, it was so stupid, people just stopped interacting on the forum at all and it became like a ghost town, it's taken a lot of time to recover from that to be fun again and now they have started purging everyone again, not sure how we cannot talk about other girls on other websites, the reason we are here is to share knowledge and risk with our fellow hobbyists, joke with each other and the service providers, reminisce of great punts that have happened, this continuous banning will just destroy the fabric of the site again...

Minime the manner and tone in which you have addressed an ESA staff member is appalling. No client has the right to speak down to staff in any industry so rudely.

Addressing advertisers in a disrespectful manner is one thing, some are of the mindset that it is a part and parcel of the industry we work in.

Antoinette is absolutely correct in not allowing advertisers to use the forum to ask for money to pay fines for advertisers or forum members banned from using the platform.

Asking money from the public, to be send via Cash Send/E-Wallet to various advertisers is not good management of the public forum. There is no control and accountability of how much is collected and if it is paid over to ESA.

I had no issues to pay directly into ESA account or directly to the charities account.

However I don't think it is fair and correct that advertisers are using the public forum to ask for funds to pay a selected one or two advertisers penalties as there have been many who have faced a ban or more and have accepted the punishment or paid the fee themselves.

Antoinette is in a class of her own and yes she will get frustrated from time to time. That is why I will have to invite her and the other lady for lunch one day.

I understand that this is ESA's decision and I respect that. But I am deeply saddened that Mia has been banned for trying to do something good for a fellow colleague. It also breaks my heart that the children of the charity will no longer receive some much needed funding that could have put to good use, so I have donated my R200 to a worthy cause. And I am blessed to have witnessed the generosity and empathy of this community.
