I pretty much stay to myself to. Your posts are always insightful and informative. Look forward to meeting you, hopefully soon.
Drugs are not isolated to this industry. It's a big problem in society in general. Specially the youth.
It affects all walks of life.
And I disagree that girls get into this industry to support a habit. I think they get into it intially out of necessity to provide a living for themselves and family members. But it's takes a very mentally strong person to do this for a living. Some ladies can't cope with the choice they have made and then turn to drugs as a coping mechanism. Then they start using to escape what they are doing and then they get addicted. And then they have to stay in the industry to support their habit. It becomes a vicious circle. And as many ladies become users, there are an equal amount of clients and normal folk in society abusing a substance.
Its all around us. But people chose to pretend it's not happening because they are afraid of the stigma attached to it. I see it in parents and loved ones, who constantly deny their children have a problem. Sweeping it under the carpet. Won't solve it either.
By turning a blind eye, we are subconsciously giving the user permission to continue using.
A 12 year old boy got approached at school and given a gram. "Try it, see if you like it, I can get you more. It's so cool. Everyone that is anyone is doing it!
The boy tries it, they give him another gram a few days later. 3 or 4 weeks later, he is calling them for more.
He gets told " Sell 3! Get one free!"
That's how easy it is for dealers to infiltrate and turn innocent children into not only addicts but dealers.

Only once encountered a lady who was high as a kite. I assumed she was as I don't have first hand experience about drugs and what it does to people. So I asked her wtf is going on and she dint even blink, told me she had been doing drugs with a client. Never saw me again.
And no, I don't think I live a sheltered life for not having encountered many wg's who do drugs. I punt selectively and mostly see highly rated ladies on ESA who for the most part I assume are not druggies.
There was a dealer in the compleX next door. The. deals went down in the street almost right outside my window.. Here are the regulars I observed.... 2 young. white mothers wIth kids int the car every Saturday, a BMW- driving white young man (about 24/25) who always dropped by on Friday or the day before a public holiday. He always had a trailer with some or other boy toy on it, jetski/ quad bike/ scrambler/ mountain bike, etc. A young muslim married couple, she with scarf and all, hein muslim garb, bead and all, you. Indian in designner clothes,, several black yuppies,. A rep For a salon haiircare rang, logo on the car.. A guy in a chairty's bakkie also logo oin the cdoor.. A mom who letHe kid play on the paveMent while sHe snorted aline. These are the ones I remember this was several years ago. I did report it to SAPS. But in the 2 cases of moms with kids they got there well after they had left. Drugs is no respecter of persons
Now my point is that if you think nobody in your inner circle does drugs or that you haven't been exposed to users, think again. The people I mentioned don't lool like druggies. They blend In with us. But then again, what DOES A druggie looK like? Look in the mirror...For the most part they loo like you and I.
I do agree that the use and abuse of any mind altering substance is not only seen in this space and is part of daily living.
But in relation to this space.
What i have experienced, and witnessed, is the sad belief and practise that drugs and alcohol go hand in hand with Service Providers.
My question is why.
What is it that leads to the stigma and belief attached to this space, that it promotes drug and alcohol use and abuse and deviant behaviour, and thus follows, is seen as a threat to society as a whole.
Are Service Providers a soft target or are they just easy, pushovers allowing themselves to be lead into situations and tempted by the call of immediate fun, unaware of the long term repurcussions.
Excusing oneself. Always saying next time i wont.
Whatever the case, for as pointed out, circumstance is unique to all.
And whatever the circumstance, judgement is the last thing required as is turning a blind eye or pretending it does not happen.
It is not about changing the masses. It is about helping one person at a time, bringing awareness that there are other possibilities and choices to be made.
I still stand firm, even though society views those dabbling in this profession as deviants, they have a right to their opinion, as we have a right to change our mindset and walk a different road and take back our right to be acknowledged as no more deviant than any other person on Mother Earth.
Mindset. Support.
And again sadly....have to add this disclaimer.....because some idiot will come along and accuse me of thinking i am better than others.....no. Just observant and applying myself to much more than looking to be derogatory and stupid.
Not too long ago, punters posted and supported and asked for details with respect to "friends with benefits"
......girls, ladies, woman.....females....fucking for free.
What was sad to witness in that thread, was how oblivious those posting, were to their deviance....accepting of, what i classify as "lose" woman, that will later become honourable girlfriends and wives....revered , pitted against Service Providers who supposedly cannot be more than delusional females with no character and.....to have an opinion....are u fucking crazy!?!
One does need a scapegoat to excuse the wrongs found in society.
History has shown that over and over
What is sorely lacking in this country (and many other parts of the world) is objective and honest information regarding the various substances, both legal and illegal. It makes absolutely no sense to me that alcohol is legal and socially accepted and people getting totally shitfaced on it, while cannabis isn't (and tobacco is). I see the negative effects of alcohol abuse all around me, from youngsters getting fucked in the local park to people fucking up their health, relationships and their lives in general. I'm not advocating or promoting the use of any substance, what is crucial is knowledge. Some substances are far more damaging than others and some people are prone to addiction, that can be to any substance or activity, including food and sex. Do I want to see alcohol banned because of this? Hell, no. Just because others can't handle their drink doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to enjoy a few beers now and again. Ditto for any other substance I might choose to use. The key is knowledge, based upon which I will choose what to use, when to use it or to not use it, and what not to use at all.
Before anyone judges me on my stand point, I had a brother who died an addict.

Muffman, on the cannabis issue, the answer is simple. There is little or no money to be made by Big Pharma or the Corporate giants from a plant that's easily accessible (in the ground) at little cost.
