Update on my loan situation.

So I decided to give this lady a final courtesy call and opportunity to start repaying the loan (it was month end after all) and if she comes up with another sad story to tell her that she can keep the money but this is also where we cut ties.

To my surprise, she says,  "I've got your f#ckin money"  (why the swearing?), "You can come get it! Me and my kids can die!" Really?! And why am I now the enemy all of a sudden, when you cried long tears a few weeks ago how you have no one to turn to? Anyway, I ask her if she is paying back the full amount or just the monthly repayment that we agreed. She says she can only afford the monthly,  I say that is fine and tell her she won't die from paying me so little. I tell her I'm on my way. She says: "Sure, why don't you! I'm not running away, you know where I live! And by the way I'm at home because I'm sick,  had to go to the doctor so now I have NO money,  not even for food if I pay you, but come get your f#ckin money!".

Obviously trying to guilt trip me again and thinking I will say it's fine,  don't pay me now. Not falling for that trick again!

Made up an emergency at work and I'm on my way there....

Here's my plan, I'm going to take the R500 and write the rest off. Afterwards I'm going for a good punt. At least I get something out of the ordeal!

I'm a bit nervous, I've never seen this lady drunk or take substances,  but she was slurring a bit and sounded very agro. I'm also not sure if it was the TV or radio,  but I heard voices in the background.

Anyway,  here goes nothing. I'm playing Rihanna #bitchbetterhavemymoney on repeat.

What drama this morning.

So I get to the complex where she stays and tell the guard which number I'm coming to. He phones and I can hear her picking up and he tells her there is someone called X at the gate. I can hear everything and she proceeds to tell the guard to say there is no answer. The guard looks at me with a dumbfounded look on his face because he knows I can hear everything and now he has to lie to me. He puts the phone down shrugs his shoulders and says "eish boss I don't want to get involved. This lady always cause nonsense and she will get me in trouble if I let you in." I said no it's fine, I'm not going in, it smells like trouble, better reverse out and phone and hear what she's got to say for herself. The phone rings and just as I'm about to hang up she picks up. I tell her I'm at the gate and the guard says there is no answer, not telling her I heard their whole conversation. She keeps quiet and after a long pause she says she was just in the bathroom, I must come up, we should talk. My instinct tells me this girl is completely f#cked in the head. This morning she shouted and a minute ago she pretended not to be here. Anyway, she sounds calm at least and more reasonable, perhaps she'll just give the money and I'll be on my way. I eventually get inside, guard looks sorry for me, and I go knock. After a while she opens. The flat looks untidy, but at least she looks like she's had a bath. She looks calm and even offers me something to drink which I politely decline. She immediately apologises for this morning's shouting and swearing and start with sad stories about how she's been under stress because of finances and also been sick. Now I'm not even sure Im going to get my money anymore. I need to think on my feet, I'm not going to go through this shit again so I need to leave with something. Plan was to at least get something back towards a punt for the day. I say to her I can't stay long, I understand her position but this has been a really unpleasant experience one I deeply regret and I will never lend her or anyone else money again. I'm going to take this one payment from her and she must please keep the rest and hopefully her kids have benefited in some way, because that's all I care about. She says to me that she can only give half what she said over the phone, but if I wait until Friday she can give me double. I ask how?! She says she is starting to see clients again, part time, and will hopefully get a few bookings. I'm thinking this woman is from crazy land. I say ok, if thats the case, give me what you got and in addition I book you now for the rest since you told me you are back in business now. And after the treatment we are done with this loan, because I need to forget about it and move on. I caught her by surprise, but in my mind I need to get something back and she's opened a gap for me by saying she is seeing clients again, so she can't refuse my offer. She realises this, even looks slightly relieved, and agrees. Had a good solid hour plus in all positions (not close to the amount of the loan, but something) and she was even chatty and looked thankful with every stroke that her debt is being cleared and smiled as I went on my merry way. Probably thinking that she can borrow money again and settle it this way. I won't even book her again, too much drama.

Lesson learnt and school fees paid.

@Longjon...please dude save yourself the agony of 100's of pm's of guys asking who this women is and just spill the beans. Im sure everyone is dying to know and wiĺl avoid like the plague.

If its the east rander, she gave me couple of please call me's yesterday. Ive no intention seeing her ever again mainly due to her being nigerian scum's moll and the heavy drugs. Last time she managed to turn on the tears and same of story of having absolutely no one to turn to, havin been sick and spendingh last dime at the doctors and going to sleep on the streets etc etc etc.

Im repeating myself here but have to reitterate that i do that test. If you say you broke and begg me for moola and I offer to come book you for a couple of hours and you try to sidestep it with excuses i then know you are just tryin to play me. Not falling for sad stories no more.

I have also been caught out 3 times!!!! Ladies crying saying no money and kids hungry etc etc .... I was too much of a sucker back then but have toughened up "a bit", however i still find it hard to say no. I was paid back by one of the ladies - free session.
