Hey folks

All is on track

Pablos needs to send the catering prices

To collect a R100 charity donation at the door is no problem

I never realised that there are many overseas clients on this site and they all want to donate

So I am busy with that but think that it is sorted

Regards

Ok, all you gorgeous people

I know its still 3 months but the uptake is awesome

Besides people going to the social, people that want to help, people that can't make it will donate as well as international clients

Lets do this

Hi to everyone. We've been awfully quite haven't we.

Between loadsheading and potholes and broken equipment from loadsheading, we had a shit lot to do.

But no worries we are back.

We trust that everybody recovered after last weeks Social. Yes....it was awesome as always.

I've been keeping an eye on the posts regarding the July proposed Social.

Due to the nature of what is required, Cape Town and maybe KZN to also join and the main aim to donate to Charity, I just need a couple of days to put everything more or less in place.

With CT already indicating that they want to invade Gauteng I would like KZN to give us some indication if people from there would like to join us.

That will require someone from each region appoint a coordinator to work with us in Gauteng.

In Midrand we've got a lot of guesthouses, B & B's etc, literally on our doorstep and the national bus routes are a few kilometers from us.
Gautrain from OR Tambo airport is 5min away.

So we would like some indications from the other regions that we can start some organized chaos.

Pricing etc. will be confirmed soon.

Regards

Peterb, well done on another great idea and initiative, and all who is involved with this.

And getting all the other regions involved, is also a good idea.

I am in as always, and shout if I can help with anything, Peterb and Nic.

Morning folks.

I'm quoting the above as this thread has become somewhat quiet and there's been no response from Cape Town side nore Durban side.

I know my dear friend Sage is in Cape Town at the moment, so maybe she can tell the people down there how much fun our Socials are up here. Like wise with my other traveling friend Tisha Desia that frequents KZN quite frequently.

A coordinator/organizer from each region to man up and work with peterb and myself to get this going.

Facilities up here are available but we need numbers/ indications of how many will be attending to start putting deal/s together for folks that want to stay over for a day or two.

I can confirm that pricing will be as follows :

Gents R350
Ladies R100

R100 from each entry will go towards charity AND Pablos will donate 10% of our takings on the bar for the day towards charity.

Although it is 4 months away, the point I'm trying to make is that the quicker we start doing and not just talking, the easier the arrangements will be and less chaos at the last minute.

So let's get this going ASAP.

JUST AN IDEA

And it's a good idea!!!

Seeing that the Gauteng ladies travel to the other regions in the country, why don't the ladies from Cape Town, Durban, PE etc come and attend the ESA Christmas in July Social, meet the ESA staff And work the Friday and Saturday at Pablos or a friend's place and return on the Sunday.
That way you can make up the cost for your trip up to Gauteng And have an opportunity to have some fun with the Gauteng gents.
I think Miss Red can vouch for that. After all Gauteng is the hub of SA's economy.

Gauteng gents let's hear your comments on this.

And for the traveling gents....maybe you can go play golf with peterb. He is Pablos resident pro golfer.

There are so many opportunities that can co-inside with this Social.
Let's make the most of it.
