With all due Respect How on earth do single mothers in this industry struggle???

Unless they are dependent on narcotics.

I have Raised two beautiful children out of this industry one 8 and 1going on 20 over and above paying for a roof over their head's, School Fees, groceries clothes, transport, Medical, Insurance, Extra murals, Pocket money, entertainment and other extras.

How on earth do mothers struggle if they are not on drugs.

Please help me understand ???

I'm all for Charity and helping people I see the need.

Ladies in thus industry make more than enough money.

Noble idea but I shall personally refrain from participating. Based on my personal experience, I bank rolled a single mom working as a MG. I gave her a cushion that allowed her to leave the industry and make a fresh start. Eventually we dated for 1.5 years. I continued to support her financially for another 6 months after we broke up because she had been retrenched. During that period, I picked her up when her boyfriend had abandoned her by the side of the road, I paid her kid's fees a few times, paid to have her electricity reconnected and even bailed her out of prison. For some reason I still believed that all she needed was help to get her leg over. After delaying her registration with UNISA for 2 years she was impregnated by some village champion that abandoned her and her kid. Now she is unemployed, has a criminal record, and a little bastard baby. I have helped her with diapers for the baby and a few other things but I feel my charity (and her mother who looks after the older child) were perhaps enabling.

I think your statement about drugs is an unfair statement babe, so is the statement that women in this industry make more then enough money. I knew a massage girl a few years back in Houghton that barely made one booking every 2 days working from my place. She was a mother of 3 at the time and I would try and help as much as I could. She even lived in my house for a while and the father took 2 of her kids and she struggled to see them. I was even dragged into an ugly custody case between them.

She never smoked, drank or did drugs. There are other ladies I've encountered since then that had similar problems.

You have been successful and blessed for whatever reason (I know why but that is not the issue ;) ), but others haven't been. If you read this thread carefully, Arhwen and St.Africa, you will see that nobody mentioned giving them money or paying their bills. It's more a buddy system between mothers and if clients would like to contribute, they are welcome. Many ladies and clients have already pmed and contacted me personally to offer their help. You don't need to aid but in the same token, don't put it down either. I am well aware of scammers and enabling, I've been an enabler and been scammed by many.

Regardless though, I will get it set up and do it anyway despite naysayers. I am alone in setting this up for now and I have my own life and business to take care of, but ill take baby steps to getting this achieved.

Veronica Honey you are Speaking to a Single mom and I too had an adiction problem so this is me speaking from Experience I've been on both sides of the fence ;) I have also dealt with scamers and the list goes on.

In the same token as hard ass as I am and know the battles single mother's fight both in and out of this industry I am prepared to support the buddy system however financial aid will not be given for reasons of my own.

PS I did not read the whole thread as it way too much to read for my tired eyes at that time of the night. However my post was based on my own personal experience as a Veteran Service provider ;)

PS. I still believe that ladies in this industry earn enough money ;)

Not everyone has to agree 100% with you Miss V. Arhwen simply gave reasons for why she won't provide financial aid. I gave my view based on my experience. I never said don't help anyone. Even now, there is another young WG that was impregnated by her ex-boyfriend and not her boyfriend that I am in regular contact with. No money changes hands. I simply listen when she wants to talk.

@Arhwen never say never my dear,
look I am a single parent too with 10yrs old twins whom I took them to one of the best boarding school, I've got my own apartment n my life too all along been managing but am still willing to assist, like this morning received a phone call from one of the wg who doesn't smoke neither drink telling how bad is life financially for the whole week she never work for days, so in this industry no one can predict my dear.

I never said Arhwens opinion was wrong or that she or you had to agree St.Africa. I have my views but she is not wrong in hers either and neither are you. I agree that there are a great deal of ladies who do fall into the categories you both mentioned. I cannot save the world, but there are a few ladies that deserve aid and are struggling that I would gladly help. I've done it many times myself.

Maam please don't put words in my mouth. When did I say never? When did I say I will not assist. Yes I do agree that this business in fact all businesses are unpredictable but of you manage your money effectively and save for a rainy day on days when you make a killing the quiet days won't really matter much.

Also I never said thatI am not willing to assist ;)

Infact I spoke from my own personal experience as a veteran I'm this industry.

Now if I may offer advice to ladies that struggle in this industry look for ways to up your game all successful service providers always look for ways to improve their services, premises, treatment and experience no matter how good they are.

Save money for rainy days. Don't rush client's. Always look as good as you do in your pics. Don't chase money. Have a positive mind set this is half the battle won and have a attitude of gratitude.

If you tell yourself you are not busy then the law of attraction will aply itself ;)

I guess like Veronica said I'm blessed and grateful for all that I am blessed with. I'm blessed and grateful that I have good clientle. I'm blessed and gateful that over the years I have built up regulars. I'm blessed and grateful I have a good support structure both in and out of the business.

Guess I have lots to be grateful for.

Mindset and gratitude is everything
