Then I went to one more sp who is in top 10 and visited her twice then make some calls to other SPs as well but no one picks up the call . I am wondering how they knowing my new number which I never used for any purpose. This shit will now force me to stop punting . I have been punting since 2008 and never been so annoyed. I am seriously leaving this shit. If this scammers are here then many punters will retire and this would not be good for business . What should be the role of ESA to prevent this ??

Think we need to keep our wits up on ladies in the Randburg area. I haven't been with a lady in Randburg in months but last month I got the same fake police call claiming an escort came into Randburg police station to open a case against me for sexual assault.
I recall only ever making contact with a few from Randburg last month only to enquire about fees and services offered but never made the booking.
Thier badgering technique is so quick they don't allow you time to think for a split second and you start to doubt yourself "maybe I did go see one in Randburg" and this may be legit.
They also lead you into a false sense of security by saying "we are convinced this is a false claim against you bcoz we have evidence of her associate who is a known Nigerian who has criminal charges against him but due to the climate in RSA on gender based violence even if it's false the process in clearing your name will be time consuming and will also ruin your reputation so we want to help you make this go away."
When asked how a payment request of R10k needs to be paid to be taken to the magistrate on duty as a token of appreciation and they will then assist in making this go away.
Sadly there are men that have fallen for this the moment you give them anything then they have their hooks in you and they will keep calling their story gets more elaborate and more of them get involved supposed higher ranking officials wanting a piece of the pie.
First thing you must ask is case number and station if they can't provide put phone down and block.
I would be even cheeky to say if he is a real cop why is he calling me saying I have a warrant of arrest you must be the dumbest cop in the world bcoz now I have a head start then put the phone down and block.
I'm sharing this bcoz I have a good friend who unfortunately did fall for this scheme and once he made the initial payment they keep harassing him for over a week where he was so traumatized he was contemplating suicide to get out of this mess. He lost R85500. We got him to a police station sat down with a very patient and professional Capt at the SAPS told the story he sympathetically listened said sadly he fell victim to fraud and opened a case of fraud and this Capt has vowed to assist in catching this syndicate.
The silver lining is I still have my friend he is still with us because I found him in time before he could take his own life.

Dear baptujpg.

There is not much we can do other than ban the ladies who are part of the scam, of course, we need evidence that the advertiser did provide the numbers to the scammer.

You can however prevent getting the calls by using a punter phone.
If you are not punting then you turn the phone off so you will not contactable.

The scammers use multiple numbers and keep changing them so tracking them is impossible, they are also widely spread in all areas.

There are ladies that work for them for money as they get money for the numbers and then there are ladies that also get scammed for the numbers, their phones get stolen there is more behind this than just the ladies selling the numbers.

When you use your personal number you also open doors to be blackmailed because all your information is accessible with your Rica'd cell number. It is your responsibility to keep your information private.

Please use a punter phone.
