Seriously.
Make up
parfume
Stockings...
and it's 2 showers per client plus heated room and multiple showers for the lady herself.

Coffee, tea , bottled water.

All of the items you mention the costs are shared between you and all your clients.

Do you buy a towel for each and every booking? Do you throw your stockings away after each and every booking? Etc, etc. I am not saying you don't have costs, but if you see 3 clients a day at R1500 a client, it's not costing you R2250 in expenses for that day.

Hey hey!!!

So you guys saying something about the punter is paying for new towels and lingerie in each punter?

Well, let the Indian come out in me. I'm gonna take that shyt home when I'm done since I paid for it.

Woohoo :D

Well technically your money is sponsoring it, so you do have a share, unfortunately you may only walk out with a few threads of the panties as it is equally shared between lots of us :).

@Sage I hear you.
But R300 on electricity a day to wash 7 towels?????
It should be alot cheaper sending it to a laundromat.

But as I said previously, you may be different to the norm.

To be honest, it's really none of our business how much SP's make.

If I am willing to pay the price and receive what I expected..... That's all that matters to me.

Tax man? You can count the number of WG's that have legitimate bank accounts and business licenses on 1 hand and still have all 6 fingers left. In case you have forgotten escorting is still illegal in this country and it is a foolish girl indeed who says to the *government* - here is some percentage of the money I earned illegally. So no, you can assume that a WG earns 43% more than any of her peers for the simple reason that she probably has never paid tax in her life (but will probably bitch about potholes and bad service).

Its not just 7 towels = R300 to wash and dry.

7 towels PER CLIENT wash and dry, lights, heating or cooling.

Yes Kooni, I understand that.

What I'm saying is... Its cheaper in a laundromat.

But wait... What's the prices like in Gauteng per load of washing?

In Durban, it's like R80 for a basket..... Hence my point

I don't think Frank is saying resuse the used towel.
He is saying if you have 20 towels in total... Don't u rotate them? As in wash them and reuse them after? Maybe you are different but trust me 90% of SP's aren't providing brand new linen to each client. Let's not kid ourselves here.

Ok I see my fuck up
but here's my counter.
7 towels per client washed in hot water
Tumble dried in winter or takes 3 days to dry.
My electricity bill is R300 per day.

Continued washing towels doesn't last years.
Have to be replaced every few months.
For my setup 10k twice a year.

I know to the last cent what a single client cost.

Just to give you an example, on your own figure for electricity above. If your electricity bill is R300 a day, which comes to R9000 a month, which seems unrealistically high but let's work with that, it means that for one hour it's R12.50. I don't know what your water is but let's assume the sane cost for water R12.50. A durex pack 12 is R165 that is R13.75 a condom. A 500ml massage oil is R150, if I use 50ml it's R15. You can buy a good single towel for R100 (less if you buy in bulk). Let's say it's used 50 times, my cost is R2. Those are your major direct costs related to a client. If R9000 worth if electricity comes to R12.5 a client I don't think we should haggle about R500 a month advertising costs per session, but let's make it R15. Data per session R10. You live in your venue I assume, but let's say for the hour the cost is R25.

That's about R106. I'll round it up to R130 for other expenses.

That's a far cry from saying it costs R750 to entertain a punter for an hour.

Also don't forget rent or room fees and transport to the venue for ladies not working from home.
In most cases that's uber neh, twice a day.

R500 gone
room fees varies but before she's even had a client R1000 gone each and everyday.

There's no guaranteeing a client everyday.
That's the case for many ladies.

You must also keep in mind lower fees sell easily
Client percieved value for money much higher the lower the fee.
So we all go as low as we can in the end.

Im simply saying I don't believe a lady has to fork out R45k before she starts making R1 which is what the poster about the ratio of expenses basically insinuated.

And I appreciate not everyone's expenses are the same. If you have your own place to work from you are one of the more fortunate ladies. There are ladies that get up every day and has to pay a daily book in rate at a guesthouse or hotel somewhere and then has to start making that money back before she can walk out there at the end of the day with money in her pocket. In a sense a venue is better in that you pay as you earn so to speak. If you have your own place then you only pay for one roof and that's the best possible scenario.

What a sp earns and her costs are her personal business I would just say to all the wonderful ladies here please be smart with your money and save if possible so that you can get that car and your own place to work if possible to reduce your costs. Quite a few ladies have done that and are able to make a decent living for themselves

Yes I agree. I know it's hard but anyone can set a goal and work towards it no matter how long it takes you to get there. What someone else can achieve in 6 months it might take 2 years, but don't focus on the next person, focus on yourself. There is someone on here that has an amazing story that I'm not going to share but it proves that one can come from nothing and achieve a lot through hard work and dedication. No matter how little you make there is always money to be saved. Cook, stop eating take aways, leave the expensive energy drinks, stop smoking it's bad for your health in any event and you'll live longer, make your own coffee, don't indulge in impulse spending- do you really need another bag or that dress?, if you have debt, pay that off first because you'll be saving a fortune in interest and can then put the monthly payments towards building up savings. Close stupid accounts, eat at home, stop buying pay as you go data, get yourself Rain for between R250 and R500 a month, you just plug it in and no installation or monthly contract needed, etc etc. It's really not rocket science. Any lady can right now save hundreds if not thousands per month depending on their own circumstances.
