Really - I think some of you need to end the pity party and grow a pair.

Good friendships are possible in this industry if you choose the right ladies, treat then with respect and have clear expectations.

However, if you are looking for a spiritual connection - maybe you need to try a different way of meeting people.

Leave this industry to people with boundaries.

Instead of just criticizing the whiny bitches - I am going to carry on punting and this is why:

1 I have met some of the most warm and genuine people while punting and developed real and lasting friendships that go beyond the transactional

2 I have become a better lover by listening and learning. I am also better able to express my desires and have them fulfilled both in paid and unpaid settings, leading to greater sexual fulfillment

3 I have had the opportunity to have experiences that I did not think would be possible. Some have been amazing and some not worth repeating - but I have tried it and the amazing ones I now repeat when possible

4 I have become more discerning - I am no longer focused on cumming at any cost, but rather on enjoying the experience. It allows me to control my spend and focus on quality over quantity

5 punting gives me the ability to escape from my very controlled environment for an hour or two and just experience physical and sensual enjoyment.

6 yes there have been some regrets - but overall definitely a net positive for me

I am also one of those trying to quit, though it's a bit tricky for now as I reckon I am a somewhat of an addict.

My reasons for wanting to quit:

1. Lately, sessions have become too mechanical, and transaction focused. I have had a lot of experiences where you could feel the lady does not care about return business.

2. Hygiene has been concerning lately for some reason., especially with the new crop of these young ones. Foul smells from down under, Body odour and sometimes bad breath. One bad odour experience can put you off punting for weeks.

3. My 3 regulars left the industry last year, and I have tried, but cannot find suitable replacements to match that level of service.

4. I have paid too much school fees, especially at the massage houses, and I am tired.

All that is purple is not equal!

Folks missing regulars are probably not missing that which is typically purple, but the strands of connection that transcended the purple.

It comes down to why are you punting? If it is giving you an outlet for experiences you would not normally have, like fetishes, then you run out road fairly quickly. Likewise if you are simply in the game to try and bang as many hot young ladies as possible then it is probably going to get old.

However, some punters do it because they are not getting any in their marriage or do it as a replacement for relationships. Ultimately all punters fall into one of these two categories. And that is the most important factor determining if they will come or go.

You can't have your cake and eat it ....

Valid reasons to quit (except the whole rituals/bad luck part)

Look. Everyone is different, you gave reasons to leave is another's reasons to continue.

You feel guilt and that is fine. I did too but I guess as time goes by I could be doing worse things fulfilling needs.

You looked at financial cost and thought eish so much. Valued long-term companionship over expensive short term and that's fine too.

End of the day, no one forced you in, or out. Do what makes you happy. My only advice is (and at the risk of sounding religious) forgive and forget.

Forgive yourself if you feel you made mistakes. Forget that the past as you don't need that hanging over your head as you decide to move forward. Be strong for days of temptation. Enjoy the good moments of new direction and remember the diffult days inbetween are what builds character.
