I know ladies who live in JHB South and Far East Rand travelling to Fourways, Randburg, Midrand daily. So yes they do have additional cost if they working later hours.
A popular lady told me they use public transport. So if they worked later hours they have to pay extra for a cab and an additional after hours fee to the day care and to the venue. If you have to work late and pay two thirds of your fees for extra expenses it is not good business. Also think about the loss of time with family. If it's late you do not have time to cook so forced to buy take out. Cost far more than cooking.
This is not a one size fits all business. Meg what worked for you the many years you've been working in the industry may not work for all.
Ladies structure fees that work for them. Just because someone works different from you it does not mean they are wrong. You and I may work the same hours, if I choose to have a higher rate from 17:00 that is my perogative, whether it is personal or business reasons should not give you or anyone else the right to question my charges or any one else's. Stick to what works best for you.
It's also very simple the client can opt to book during the cheaper rate.
There are ladies who are successfully doing this. Nadia BBW has discounted specials during specific times during the day. She's been doing her sunrise and sundowner for years because it works very well.
So if we charge less during a specific period and a higher rate for evenings why is this a big issue?

Yes we offer up a lot in working more hours. Even waiting on ghost bookings.
So I don't think it's uncalled for asking the client a overtime rate.
We all know ladies charge what they can work with.
You shifting time and priorities around to accommodate him; because he can't make it through the day...yes this is a both side transaction.
I think this should could for the days the ladies usually don't work...like Sundays is mine.
