This is MY story / observation for today...

It started before my day begun.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$%%

One has these dreams as a child of wanting to be something when they "big".
Aspiring to people that they have heard about or read about. That exposure to the rest of the world influencing ones young mind.

A perception of what life is...the truth of a child's version of things....then to be "moulded" further by opportunities presented, experiences, role-models, guidance and a re-evaluation of the aspirational dreams of the youngling, one was.

All the while, with all the exterior influences, the struggle of character and personality playing a major role in what happens next.

The pariah that will go with ones head, against the wall, fighting the system.
The stubborn egoistic who thinkS they know better.
The eternal intellectuals that thrive on the theoretical rather than the practical.
The go getters who mow anybody and everything in their way.
The opportunists who see and sieze a moment, on the ready to be in the forefront .

And so much more....

In all of this that, which was, the aspiration a generation ago, is now seen as outdated.

But one thing holds firm.

No matter the era, generation, external influences or ones character and personality, there will be those that will transcend time and change.

They live through their achievements, spoken about, passed on from generation to generation...a part of the history books of those that give achievement a true definition, a definition to inspire many who may see themselves as unworthy or incapable

And even if one may not reach the level of influence of these people, the hope the positivity, the awe, enthralling fascination they inspire is all that is needed to set one on a path better travelled.

This morning the internet worldwide, buffering and buffering....

Youtube streamers tryjng to circumvent restrictions...

And why?

Because of one man

Mike Tyson.

Legends....they hold the world enthralled, captivated and awakening aspirations among the younglings who too, got up with their mummies and daddies to watch.

A real life, a real struggle , choices made , ripple effects left...even champions know to make dicey choices but, to choose a road better travelled is worthy of waking up at 3am and dragging ones kiddies out of bed to look in and learn a lesson or two by watching the choice of a boxing legend to step in The ring with an opponent representing the modern aspirations of the younglings of today.

The amazing thing being that our younglings here at home were sad that the Legend that Tyson is, lost.

True Legends are just that....LEGENDS.

RB.
