Thats not nice Ubermensch. I have a background in accounts so never judge a book by its cover. That was just plain nasty but luckily for me I couldn't care what you think. Many wg's have alot more brains then you'l ever have.

Isn't that exactly what you just did? Judging him by his cover? Admittedly his comment wasn't very nice though.

A joke is okay. Savanna has broad shoulders and can take it. However the gift to Qcumber was not a joke and Savanna has already received payment from the benefactor thru ESA. Ubermensch was just attacking Savanna on a personal assumption which is not very nice. Savanna is a WG to earn her own income, pays her own living expenses and will not accept free handouts. She comes from a strict old school background and was taught to have manners, backbone, responsibility and to survive difficult times.

@Michelle She may be your daughter but it does her no favours to have mommy leaping to her defense all the time. So let her exhibit that backbone all by herself. If you want people to take her seriously you have to let her be her own person. I totally get your instinct to protect someone you love but this is one of those few times where that does less good than you'd like. Just my 2 cents.

@ oraljim I'm all for a good joke and I often have a good laugh at myself but only a naive person would think that was funny. I'm sorry to say but if Ubermensch is that naive then many wg's do have more brains then him. Being nasty is no joke.

@Oraljim. You are right. My instincts do jump in at times but most times I let Savanna handle her own issues and deal with the consequences should it be necessary.
