I overheard one of my one friends say that taxes will go up 4% this year. And our food prices and everything is going up again. So we are all f##### in SA, where everything goes to our corrupted government of our country. We work and they gain - how wonderful to be one of them.

It is also difficult for them to legalize this industry, there are too many of us, so it will be a expensive exercise for SARS. It is like our e-toll gates, it has collapsed as we SA citizens stopped paying because we are gatvol of our government.

Those ladies who do decide to pay taxes do so in order to legalize their money, not really hard to do. Do they receive the protections provided under the law for doing this ?

It is such a sad state of affairs in SA. The collection of taxes should be a case of everyone contributing to the betterment of society as a whole.

Unfortunately the corruption with tenders and the unauthorised spending of Government makes one reluctant to contribute. The needy in our society are not looked after. The education system is going for a ball. If the Minister of Education proudly states that :
"We only had to lift 29 of the subjects' marks", then I get that icy cold feeling down my back that we are escalating to a point where no one in their right mind will even look at matric results as a measure of competence, which only leads to more uneducated masses, making the political gullibility of the undereducated masses a certainty in years to come, with no reasonable assumption that things will change for the better.
