Church Street Flamingos is the original club and is the bigger of the two. It's location near Hatfield and the cheap drinks makes it very popular and it tends to be busy. Expect to pay a R50 cover charge.

There are plenty of strippers and there is a stage and private booths for them to ply their trade. Quality of the dancers is pretty good and there are several eastern Europeans.

The working girls at Church Street Flamingos are of lower quality and hard to find amongst all the strippers. Mostly Afrikaans girls, I dont ever recall seeing an Asian. Rule of thumb is to look for the women who are fully clothed and approach them. Rooms are through the back and are average for this part of town.

Stormvoel Flamingos is located next to Teazers just off the Stormvoel offramp on the N1 North. Because of the Teazers connection there is no dancing inside this Flamingos and all the girls are escorts. No cover charge, and a lot less busy than other Flamingos. The set up is a bar and several tables. There is also a pool table.

The ladies here are better looking than Church Street. Still fairly rough, but there are some gems if you take your time and suss the place out. There are several Thai and Chinese girls who worked there last time I visited.

Rooms are not bad, and the VIP room has a private jacuzzi (the other rooms share a jacuzzi).

Overall I prefer Stormvoel for it's relaxed atmosphere, friendly bar staff and the higher quality girls. Also, no cover charge.

There were plenty time I didn't come right at Church Street just because there was no-one suitable available. This has never happened to me at Stormvoel.

Average price of a punt at Stormvoel?

Last year it was R550/hour or R700/hour if you wanted the VIP room.
