I clearly explained that I will not kill him, but that I will shoot him right in between his s**thole & his dick!! A good spot for repeated infection!!! Mr Doos had a knive in his pants, not anymore & he was escorted by me to the gate. Smelly opened & before we parted I, on a friendly basis, reminded Mr Doos that 1. This is South Africa! 2. F**K-OFF back to Nigeria! 3. This is South Africa!! Menlyn used to be an OK area, but as with the rest of PTA, is going to the dogs! I NEVER go to complex's due to past run-inns, but Smelly was very nice & convincing on the phone! Do not be fooled by her pics!! She is a real druggie & scamster!

Remember that you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt the intention of Mr Doos and that he was already in the process of trying to harm you with a deadly weapon ie you must not only know it, you must be able to prove it in a court. Especially when not in your own property, you must be able to justify taking out your weapon, in this case it is logically sensible to have done that and I understand that as a logical law-abiding citizen with firearm credentials, but the monkeys that govern our firearm laws are not so clever to see shades of grey.

As a range officer, dedicated sport-shooter, big five hunter, and one who owns more than normal...I have heard of and seen situations like yours turn out badly for the guys who were in your situation: though self-defence with a weapon was justified, brandishing and/or discharging that weapon was even enough to revoke the license. Dont know who you work for or what special licences or influece you have Im not undermining that in any way, but I understand our new SA gun laws and legisalation as ones that makes the situation you metioned as one that could be terrible for you. In other words, im just saying our new gun laws are fucked, they seem pro-competency for the legal firearm owner, as well as pro-criminals (like pushy Nigerian druglords).

Glad you made it out there mate. I too have a Roni convertor over a Glock 17 and .44Spcl for back-up. Roni conversion is one mean motherfucker and looks even worse.
