Noboby are allowed to stop and ask you for any personal information or scan your car lisence at a boomed off area. They can't deny you acces to the area either, should you refuse to present any id.
They may however do that at an estate.

I don't mind boomed areas or even those complexes with security. I do kinda think twice when its places that scan your disk.
