There's a lady who was banned by ESA. I understand that bannings (depending on the reason I guess) aren't a permanent thing necessarily.

This lady says she was unbanned because she paid her fine. Is that really a thing?

I think that depends on whether it's a forum ban or a service ban... I think. Could be wrong. But I believe forum bans are easily overturned by paying a fine, while service bans (bans for scamming/ theft/ extortion etc.) are permanent.

Yes there is such a thing.

I remember recently a long standing punter paid, I think like a R2000 fine.

Yes...For a forum ban.
It's usually a donation to charity...and then you get unlocked to participate on the forum.

If she was banned for other reasons...not sure how this would work with ESA.

Dear Gentleman

When you are banned from the forum you have 2 options, you can sit the ban out it or pay to charity.

We believe from something bad could come something good hence the charity donation.

Escort South Africa determined the amount that needs to be paid to charity.

A forum ban is not a permanent ban the advertiser's profile will still be active she can just not make use of the PM system and she can not post anywhere on the forum.

If a basic or GM gets banned from the forum they can not make use of the PM system and can not post anywhere on the forum.
