why would a simple "hi" know not to stir my curiosity?
U must have liked me to greet me, even though no display of verbosity.

Of course I shall send off a "hello" , the door now a little ajar for u to say more,
"How much?" U continue ...and thus to close, in ur face, the door.

Mmmmmm.....how much? Well...a loss for me for I shall never have the pleasure of u.
Mmmmmm.....how much? It is not only about any monies that may be due.

How much?....what was it u looking for from someone like me
How much?..... a little glimpse u gave me as to who u may be.

How wrong I could be and have lost out on a most sensual share.
But , do u blame me for being careful , shutting down and not keen to dare...

To give of myself without reserve or concern ,
When u have given me nothing, ur persona to discern.

And then there are those that court me, schoomzle me into a dripping mess...
Catch my attention hold it, and keep me asking for more without duress ,
Till that moment they walk thru my door and I smile like a silly woman,
The best of what could be between us will always be a given.
