"...'ello??.." He said, a very heavy French accent .

It started off with a query and continued over a couple of weeks whatsapp messaging developing into a comfortable familiarity.
The messaging never touching on any sexual or sensual imaginings of fantasies or desires .
Pictures shared of his sightseeing moments. Work challenges shared. General comments made about this and that.

And then I forwarded a voice note...

"Ding dong di da doooo...ding ding di da doooo....ding...." a whatsapp call was coming through

"...'ello??? I do not understand why this voice messaging if I can call you..ya?!?!?!?" said in stilted English, the French way which made me smile and sounded quite pleasant. More like a statement on how silly I was to have not thought to call him.

"Hello." Said I.

I knew instantly , confirmed, I DID like him.

He was as real as they come in a space where cloak and dagger bullshit reign.

That sort of refreshing interaction where I take interest to listen, hear and remember what is shared....and am keen to engage in conversation .

Where did it all lead to....?

A night most royal at the Oyster Box!!

Company.
Conversation.
Laughs.
Debate.

A "colonial" affair over 24 hours.

Colonial I say because I felt as if I had been transported into the 1920's and, since I absolutely love mystery and "who done it" , it felt as if I were in an Agatha Christie movie and, him and I were set on some sort of adventure.

The place is BEAUTIFUL.

We were like children and I did not hide my exuberance and gratitude at what awaited me in those hours.

We ate downstairs.
Sat in the library for cake and coffee.
Went to the upstairs bar for a nightcap and then to room 20(...).....

He wanted to show me everything...as much as possible...and...I wanted to see!

All the time this eccentric gentleman painting his world before my eyes.

How easy to get carried away and allow the infatuation of a most excellent time spent with another human being to dictate what is to happen

That eve with the blue moon in all its glory, high in the heavens, the balcony doors and shutters wide open allowing a most perfect scene to be ones view...a lighthouse calling to the ships, an ocean loud in its unrestrained strength...and...us.

I romanced him.

He romanced me.

I am sure I must have met him in many previous life's like he said he must have met me.

There are those that just feel "right" and make me feel even more "right" in all we share.

I walked away with my camera having captured, what he called...."our story of the rising morning sun..."
