On a serious note though, dental care is damn expensive, even for those with medical aid. Can only imagine how difficult and expensive it is for an informal worker, like a sex worker, to get medical aid (no employer footing half the bill), let alone having to balance medical expenses (the more important ones) with the cosmetic ones with everything else they have to deal with in life.

Life's not easy for all of us. Let's not judge the parts of her body that we don't deem perfect. Just love her for the way she is, and help where you can help. If you can't help, then accept your own limitations as equal to hers.

I like this post and couldn't agree more. Though one also needs to be careful to avoid being used to support a habit or being used.There are plenty of sharks out there some of them camouflage quite well.

The point of the post is that you should take care of what you got before it gets there. A toothbrush works.

No no. A dentist visit for a basic clean where they also remove stains is about R400-R600. Considering what we charge, this is affordable.

There's no excuse on this one.

It really is beyond me, just like the hygiene of some adults. It's cringe worthy.
