Am I Imagining Things or Is Quality On The Decline?

It's been 3 years since I renewed my membership or used the site. During that time I've been overseas. On scanning the profiles I was struck with a feeling that the physical appearance of service providers has declined, in other words they're just not as visually attractive as before. Am I wrong, have they moved away, or am I just looking in the wrong places?
Any suggestions from seasoned punters would be welcomed. Also, any recommendations would be appreciated.
