What happened? Is everyone saving up for the holidays? Ive been in this industry for many years and i can see how the business is going down on traveling and allnighters or weekenders. Then i also know we not a necessity but a luxury. Think the clients will rather punt a few time with different ladies then spent it all on one lady for a night or two. What do you gentleman think? The economy is F####### up everyone's budget. Ai i miss the good old days when we where traveling from one booking to the next.

Well then you get MG that does not honour an appointment today. Booked yesterday afternoon, when i pitched up, sorry, she's not in...In times like this, you should treat clients better...
I also sense all of a sudden a lot of new places in Pretoria East. Seems a lot of girls are now venturing into the industry - because times are tough?

Yes its tough on all of us. Think my planing needs to be upgraded over Desb for i need to see a lot more clients that i have in the past months. I cant see 2/3 clients a week, thats gonna be my downfall. So yes everything will turn back to normal(sort off) this month and ill be a lot more available over Desb. Im not leaving for CT like i used to over Desb, i need to work. But i will take a break from the 21/29 if there is any lost soul that want to play, my phone is on. @Ben not everyone can spend over Desb, Desb is my worst month in a year.

Punters (and WG's) have less disposable income to use on luxury items such as punting. The demand for a WG's services is therefore down. In Industry when the demand for a product decreases to the extent where it is hurting the business the business is forced to put their prices down or face going out of business.
As a WG, you are effectively running a business and you should therefore run your business as per tried and tested business principles. Meg, work out how many clients you need to see per day in order to make a living and decrease your pricing in order to get to this figure. I do not know what you charge, but by looking at your profile (very sexy) I assume that you charge more than the average WG out there - a WG that charges say R1,000 will be more effected by the economy than a WG that charges say R750 as at the end of the day punting is a vice and punters do NOT stop punting - if the economy is down then punters will simply go to a WG that charges a price within his budget.
My advice to you Meg is to do an experiment - reduce your rate by say 10% to 20% - advertise this on the forum and see if your business shows a marked increase.
Good luck
