After being out of this industry for a while and to make some kind of move forward I returned to work as a WG. Financially I coped much better but being a WG takes up a lot of your time and gives you very little time for friends. This has caused me to be very lonely but I aim to change this in 2016 and make time for myself. Money can't buy happiness. I also want to lose weight and discovered that their is a new gym in the area that does not operate on contracts but on a month to month basis and will possibly work out very well for me. In my free time while waiting I will be taking up some of my creative projects and have a trustworthy person who will help me to sell them. Looking forward to starting the new year on a new slate.

What are your new years resolutions?

Mine is to break even more free from fear, and to do more of the things I love. And to wake up in gratitude every day. Thank you for the thread Michelle. I think it's wonderful how you plan to make your life happier. All the best xMx

Don't mean to brag but I started a 14day diet at the beginning of 2015 and finished it in 2hours and 43min flat:-)

I can't remember when last I made a new year's resolution.

Michelle, I wish you everything of the best in achieving the goals you've set, for yourself, for 2016. Being able to achieve the right balance in our lives is, for me, very important. I agree, it isn't easily achieved. I also hope that you're very successful in the sales of your creative output. Impressive. Keep it up.

Mynxie, I hope that you, too, will be able to achieve all your ambitions and that you make significant headway in breaking free from fear. I, for one, still have many fears to conquer.

I forget who said it but someone once said "If you think money can't buy you happiness you just don't know where to shop" :) I find I agree with that. I guess it all depends how we individually define "happiness".

Oraljim, the saying "money cant buy you happiness" is maybe true, but that money can help me book some of this fine ladies, and that will make me happy.

Happiness bought thru things and activities is only temporary. To me happiness is a choice and even when things are tough by having peace of mind I can still be happy. Same as love is actually a doing word. You show love by doing things for people. The saying "Actions speak louder than words" is so very true.

I am opening a gym called "Resolutions" it will have exercise equipment for the first 2 weeks and then it turns into a bar for the rest of the year.
