By karma I mean the whole "what goes around comes around"

I have a tendency to play judge, jury and executioner. Sometimes when someone wrongs me and I see it as a part of their character I have the urge to put that person in their place and I have often done that. I rationalize it to myself that I am doing it on principle and merely reciprocating in kind like a mirror.

I have been thinking about it recently and been wondering whether it's not better to not react, to not punish, to not respond in kind.

Your thoughts?

You can react, or you can create ...

The difference being, when you react, you just perpetuate more of the same.

When you create, you bring something new, even change.

I have a thing for when i see unfairness. And i get very vocal about it. Just vocal. But if you treat me or someone close to me in an unfair way, i do think i can be your worse enemy. I dont let go.

I do believe that you reap what you sow.

It may take 2 weeks or 5 years, but believe me, it will come back to them in some way or another...

Let it be.

They make their own beds and dig their own graves.

Smile, wave and chose to be happy.

Before you act, you have freedom, but after you act, the effect of that action will follow you whether you want it to or not. That is the law of karma.

Addressing one of many reasons i believe in karma...

Bullying is an ever growing vile pandemic in a so-called progressive modern society.

The lean toward ridiculing, joining in, looking in, talking about popcorn time, grabbing for ones phone to capture the " shaming and attack " of another more acceptable than standing up against unacceptable, inexcusable "bait and attack".

My children were brought up to respect the opinion of another but, not back down to standing for ones rights should they be impeded on, picked on or ridiculed.

My children were brought up to never be the bully but, never back down to a bully no matter how big and scary they may seem or be.

My children were brought up to not only think of themselves but, to treat others in the same way they wish to be treated.

My children were also brought up to respect others and know when ones silence is required no matter how badly ones sensibilities may be irked.

I believe there is a time to keep quiet and then there is a time to not.

The art of debate...hearing what is said as opposed to personalizing it, reading as objectively as possible and engaging in conversation, understanding a situation instead of presuming and....much more.

And then the obvious.

I do believe in karma.

What comes around goes around and maybe that which you sow , you shall reap...a friend, understanding, leaving a positive ripple effect, hope, growth, peace, strength and courage.

And

When your time comes, should it come...you too shall have a good soul in your corner to help where help may be needed.

RB.

I do believe that at any given point you're exactly where you're supposed to be.

And i do believe life teaches us the same lesson untill we actually learn it.

I know there's a reason for everything.

And I know our path was there before we were.

I do believe the wheel turns and what you give you will recieve... at some point.

BUT

I just wanna know wtf I did that upset the universe so much... Like every time I think it's done... it just fucks me from a different angle. I just can't hey

No I dont believe in it. I see good people suffering. I see bad people enjoying life. The world is just too random to believe it. However there is coincidence, if you good and people know that you will.have good come your way. If u try and people see u try they will give u a chance...if you a poes and people know u are a poes people wont want to help u..as someone else said u reap what u sow

Karma is something that we can observe which is why you see it in many different religions.

One thing about people is that we are self-centered in general. We like to think of Karma as an individual action that results in individual Karma.

Think of it this way. If a group of people oppresses another group of people, then at some point there will be a revolt. Sometimes this Karmic flow takes multiple lifetimes. Innocent people are affected by Karma when they did nothing wrong.

Karma is a teacher. If you go around being a jerk, then people will treat you like one. Learn your lesson and stop being a jerk, and people will start treating you better (not immediately). Karma is rarely something that happens immediately.

Even in non-human forms Karma seem to exist. In Africa for example there was a plant that was being overconsumed by the local population of animals. So the plants released poisonous levels of tannins that killed off most of the animals eating the plant. Keep in mind; these are plants that are miles apart all "deciding" to kill off the animals that threaten overconsumption and ultimately the survival of the plants.
