Someone once told me...
"Acquaintances" happen when you happen to share the same space...you might have nothing in common, your a product of time and place.
"Friends" happen when you both like the same things but not necessarily share the same values...
"Best Friends" happen when you both dilike the same things and share the same values...
The older I get the more I find this to be true...;)

The word friend is used too lightly in all circles .
Far and few between are my friends and shall remain until death does its thing. 20 years plus
Lifelong friendships come with huge responsibility.

Rb totally agree about friendships. Maintaining them at times especially decades ones can be a real pain be it a guy or lady but it's during the testing time where a true friend is there without being asked. Let's hope amongst us everyone has at least one of those long ones who got our backs no matter what.

Yep kingkk.
Friends are far and few between.
But I am blessed.
Acquaintances are many.
But even Acquaintances can be far and few between, ensuring to surround oneself with those that are a reflection of self...hopefully.
And a good soul is usually the drawcard for me, as is a sense of stability and the aspiration to be successful and prosperous without being pompous and egoistic.
RB.
