Karlien. It's difficult to communicate when dealing with a venue ! The receptionist answers and makes the booking. So you mostly don't even get to speak to the lady you're booking until you get to the rim

Yeah, that's one of the tricky parts with venue bookings. It feels a bit like flying blind---you only really know what you're walking into once you're already at the door. Direct communication would definitely help set better expectations for both sides. Sometimes a small convo beforehand could save everyone a lot of awkward surprises.

Communication is great but I really don't think a punter should have to ask any wg to shower and clean up before a booking. That is a given expectation.

And as far as having a period,calso safe to say any punter calling a wg that's available is expecting her to not be in her period. Most wgs will take that time off and not be available during that period (pin intended). As such, it's entirely up to the wg to communicate that she's on her period when booking to avoid disappointment. I would think it would be quite rude and disrespectful to ask the countless wgs if they're on their period who are courteous and professional enough to plan around it and not work while on it.
