A punter recently made this claim: "I mean all of the punters on this site, religiously sitting in front of their computers spewing out moral directives, are fucknuts of note."

An interesting claim, but is it true? It turns out, not so much, but the evidence reveals something far more interesting.

According to Live Science, and other sources, approximately 15% of Western men have paid for a sex worker at least once, and this may be under-reported. That seems like a high percentage of men that would be "fucknuts".

When you take a closer look you find that only about 1% of adult males have paid for a sex worker in the past 12 months. That's significantly lower, and it's plausible that 1% of men may be "fucknuts". But are they, when it comes to illicit sex?

Delving deeper we find that "the average John doesn't look all that different from the average man who has never paid for sex", in other words, demographically, we're almost identical.

But here's the thing, when it comes to avid customers who post reviews online and participate on forums, "a substantial portion of them are married, white, earn over $120,000 per year, have graduate degrees and think about sex more (and feel less guilty about it), compared with other groups of men, including those who have been arrested for hiring prostitutes on the street."

"Men of this more privileged class that cruise the internet instead of the sidewalks for sex also have different views about prostitution. Compared with men who have been arrested for soliciting a prostitute, the avid online customers are more likely to say that prostitution should be legal, that they would marry a prostitute and that prostitutes enjoy their work, the researchers found."

"Whereas the authors of the new study argue that hiring prostitutes is not necessarily an ordinary behaviour, they say there's also little evidence to show that it's inherently deviant or linked to psychological deficiencies. That's in contrast to findings by some anti-prostitution groups."

So, there you have it, we aren't "fucknuts". We're educated, wealthier than average, sexually liberated and have liberal views regarding prostitution.

I think, in this liberated day and age, you'd be fucknuts to think that paying for sex is fucknuts, and if you do, the problem probably lies with you. Yes, I am aware that there may be demographic differences between Western countries and South Africa as a whole, but certainly not when it comes to internet using punters, and frankly, the SPs (those that may have the experience) would surely attest to the difference in punter quality between online players and walk-ins.

Yes, all men are punters and all women are whores, but I don't think in the way you mean. There are perfectly plausible evolutionary explanations.

The fact is... If you have a dick you will always pay for sex. Punters are just honest and straightforward about it.

I woke up to a post dedicated to MY new word, "FUCKNUT". Thank you for that. I sincerely hope that this word will continue ad infinitum on this site.

But it has to used correctly. In the right context. Not out of context.

As it is my word, please allow me to explain the correct meaning of this word.

What is a fucknut ? According to my subjective view it is all of the punters on this site. That is the specific grouping of people that post on this site, use this site to look at ladies, or others, or simply browsing.

I don't believe that the average Joe on this site is educated and more affluent than the rest. Take me as a case in point. I am white, poor, uneducated, and most importantly, I have very strong feelings that prostitution is probably the biggest mindfuck as well, with the ladies irreparably damaged, so definitely no liberal views from here.

I might just be the exception to your rule, but I don't really think so. All varieties are on this site. From using prostitutes as a dumping site for semen, to those that actually fall in love with a prostitute. Look at In Flames's declaration of love as a point in case. And anything in between.

Look in the mirror. Do you like what you see ? Are you the best you can be ?

The answer is a resounding NO. Cloak it any way that you like but we are all fucknuts on this site.
