The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British and Americans.
The Germans drink lots of beer, eat lots of sausages and fats, and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British and Americans.
Conclusions: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.
In my opinion the consumption of alcohol is not conducive to good health in the longer term.
Its effects in old age are deleterious.
