Scientist have quite a challanging job at the moment. They need to convince unvaccinated people to take the vaccine because it works, and at the same time convince vaccinated people to get booster shots because the vaccine didn't work.

At the beginning of the vaccine campaign they said if you take the vaccine you will not get Covid. Then when it was clear that they did not prevent the Virus they changed their story to it prevents serious illness and death.
