This is very interesting. Off the point. For years I had chronic pain and never even thought it was a 'thing'. Always a pain somewhere, not always the same place. Thought it was in my head. My male bestie referred me to some FB pages and articles and finally, there were others with the same issues. So I had something to talk to my doc about. He did examinations and found I had pain in almost all the areas of pain in his diagram and also extreme anxiety.

During a counselling session the therapist brought the female friendship under the spotlight. The friendship was very stressful and abusive.
