You will relate to it if personally dealt with the police there, luckily not anything bad - :
First time my thai girl bag was stolen in the club, Australian backpacker thief got arrested next day using the cam recording we got from the club;
Second Time my south african credit card was not working that night to pay my night club bill and was escorted by the police to my hotel to get my other banks'card and cash in hotel safe and went back to the club to pay the bill and started a 2nd bill.

I've been to Thailand a few times, favourite destination. I highly recommended to a farang single guy if you never been - budget friendly accommodation, food, beaches, clubs and obviously the female born women.

An outdoor soapy massage would be amazing provided it's private enough. In the summer heat it could be best thing ever.

Remember an old guy giving advice on a Youtube video. He said you should NEVER pay with your credit card at a bar (or anywhere else) in Pataya. (Not that I'll ever go there).

True never pay with your card at a bar in Thailand as they can add extras even at a later stage as you unlikely to complain to your bank reason why the discrepancy, I just ran out of cash that night with a go go bar girl and there was a SA banking glitch that bloody night as card worked fine the next afternoon with no extra charges.

You also never talk bad about the king nor step on any baht notes with king thereon as saw people getting arrested for that.

My first stop will be Pattaya again next time , 2 hour public bus direct from Bangkok airport - no 'world city competes with it in terms of no of girls and bars, its a men's Disney world playground if that's your thing..
