One thing I learned about mental health is that the drugs(antidepressants etc) doctors give patients is the also the cause of the problem to a large extent ..some make people insane,zombies..

How is everyones mental health?
I'm embarrassed to say that many many years ago I thought depression was one feeling sorry for themselves and being lazy
I also felt anxiety was a lie for attention
Until it happened to me
Most recently I was used and abused, lied to and told to F off by someone I pulled out of a deep depression
I attract this and need to figure out why
After sleeping with many randoms, whilst telling me I'm her number one, she ends it with, get over it, your anger is unattractive and unappealing so F off now, not realizing she was the cause of my anger.
Broke me. Felt weak to ruminate and let it get to me as much but I do believe in Love
I browse profiles and realize it's Mostly fake interactions when I'm looking for intimacy and to Not be Made to feel guilty for being a Man and having needs.
I guess I'm trying to find a regular to build a connection with, actually be friends, support her and enjoy intimate interactions
Some may say Wrong forum but in the past I've met some amazing people on here, real people who through their own experiencs, see Life for what it is.
I don't know what I wanted to achieve by This pos, maybe a girl on a similar wavelength reaches out but either way it felt good to type this even though it makes me feel a bit exposed

You probably learned this from experience? If so, you're correct
Whilst antidepressant medication may have its place in severe cases where there's catatonia etc then a stimulant or a tranquilizer and to settle raging firing of neurons but..
The way in which SSRIs are prescribed as a fix is totally wrong.
The serotonin theory is flawed. Depression is way more complex than a mere serotonin deficiency and every SSRI has horrific side effects, some thst persist beyond treatment
So yes I see them as a poison.
They just turn you into a zombie. No ups but also no downs and that numbing effect is better to people that what they're currently going through when they have work and families to support
So whilst stating the above, I can understand why.
Just not for me, anymore, ever again
Same goes for MAOIs and trycyclics. Just less of a side effect profile.
