I have been using Uber for the past 18 months since I realised the vrou was tracking me ... because she asked one night if I know an area, and I was like no, as we do ... and it was an area by a lady I was "in" the day in question, so since then phone on privacy mode and Uber to the pleasure palaces ... HaHaHa
1)he spotted the security guard
2) bumped into another SP / punter at the venue

#find an uber guy you like and trust and contact him ditectly dont use the app. That is way safer, nothing to track.
I have one male driver in jhb and one female in cpt that i use regularly. I never have to struggle to get a ride from airport or to wherever I need to go if I dont want to use my own vechile.

Just turn off your location/GPS in the quick access drop down menu and it won't/can't track. You only really need it when you navigating and at that point it will tell you that it's turned off so you can switch it on when you need it and off when you don't.

Create a fake account on your punting phone and choose cash as the payment method. Did it for the same reason and it worked great from the first day.
Same with Booking.com to book rooms/hotels for side chicks etc.
