Anyone got any useful info on punting in Mombasa?
Where? Who? How? Price? Services, duration, safety, hotel etiquette, warnings, locations , contact numbers, reliable websites, accepted currencies, etc?

I don't know much about Mombasa itself.
However - if the culture is the same as Nairobi - it's like most African cities in most African countries.
If your race lean to the lighter shade of pale - just arrive - the ladies will find you.
My colleagues, whose race leans to the other pole, had a much harder time and had to work for their companionship.
$US is most welcome with 90% of the ladies that I met.
The best value for money is normally somewhere between $US30 - $US50.
Of course there are ladies who will ask for $US200, but just move on - they are the exception.
If you pipeline some ladies through online dating - it also works a charm.
Hotels - Google is your friend and search for "guest friendly" hotels in the city that you are going to.
Warnings - same as in South Africa. Don't be stupid and keep your street smarts with you.
