It had been a difficult time.
Possibilities of affairs, lies...deceit.
On both sides.
But, he was more suspicious of her shenanigans than she was of his.
Varsity sweethearts with the same aspirations and huge dreams.
That was 40 years ago.
It began early...his suspicions of her enjoying the sexual devotion of one of their friends.
Nothing concrete....just those little signs of possible lovers.
It drove him dilly, and even worse, her withholding of sexual "favors " just added fuel to that fire of suspicion raging in his head.
Thus began his journey into a world where women gave him the sex he craved at home.
The tragedy was, the more sex he bought, the worse he felt.
Those transactions emphasised the lack of intimacy at home. Those transactions just made him want his wife even more.
