The desperation is palpable. Service providers begging for sales on public forums is a major turn-off. It's like watching a salesman knock on your door, uninvited, and plead for you to buy their product. The constant "buy my content" or "support me" posts come across as insincere and aggressive, making potential customers feel uncomfortable and annoyed. It's a surefire way to drive people away, rather than attract them. A more subtle and respectful approach would be to let your content speak for itself. Begging for sales only undermines your credibility and makes you appear desperate.

Moreover, this behavior also casts an expectation that every single service provider is willing to do anything for basically the lowest payment possible. It perpetuates a toxic narrative that devalues the worth of service providers and their work, implying that they are willing to sacrifice their time, effort, and expertise for basically nothing. This not only harms the individual service provider but also the entire industry, as it sets a dangerous precedent that can lead to exploitation and undervaluation of services. It's essential for service providers to maintain a level of professionalism and self-respect, and for clients to recognize the value and worth of the services they are purchasing. By doing so, we can create a healthier and more sustainable marketplace where both parties can thrive.

@Kylie, I was initially going to disagree with you in part, and my question would have been how else should ladies advertise if they cannot say "buy my content"? (The "please support me" pleas I think we can all agree comes across desperate.) But I read your post again and get what you are saying - many ladies' selling point is not the quality and value of the content itself, but rather an appeal to punters' sympathy to help out with money. It is quite off-putting I agree. Unfortunately, these ladies don't know any different. They're the ones that will have no hesitation sending requests to clients for money with sad stories. That's what they know and how they operate unfortunately.

Completely agree with Kylie's point. These SP's are using the "please support my content" we saw originate during Covid lockdowns.

Covid lockdowns are done, but the old narrative is still being used.

No one needs to support anyone.

If the service you're providing is so bad that you need to beg, then it's time to review the service you're offering, because the market is telling you that it's not up to standard.

@ Kylie 100% correct, if the content on the ad doesn't sell you, then what will.

Something that's also off putting is when clients constantly ask for free photos . Once again if my pics on my ad can't sell me, then how will my other pics?

I agree begging is as off putting as badmouthing another advertiser just don't do it.

Off topic...
Perhaps maybe try update your photoshoot. I think they ask for pics because you last did a photoshoot in 2023.

Normally when they ask me for pics I say there are pics where you found this number and they are less than 3 or I sell them content which also works If it's a matter of a face pic I send them a view once pic.

I agree, if your pics are old guys are hesitant to book and that then also opens up the door for picture requests.
